I’m actually sad that this will only be a trilogy.Įnough talk. And while I’m dying for the third book so we can finally see some peace between Gideon and Eva, the end of this book left me satisfied. Reflected in You not only has crazy good sex scenes in it, but she really moves the story along with a conflict that will keep you on your toes. Eva’s BFF and roommate Cary has a big roll in this book, as well as more stable characters like her boss and his boyfriend, and some girlfriends she hangs out with. I also like that Sylvia Day brings in nice supporting characters. I take it as a fantasy to enjoy for the few hours I read this. It’s not normal really and I can see where readers may get their eyes rolling while reading this series. I will say, their devotion to each other is crazy. She makes them sexy and insane, and this book becomes total crack (where I could not put it down) rather than too much over the top. There is such a fine line between these two people being completely insane and completely sexy. I like this.because this happens a lot in romance books, where sex is the magical cure. They bring up the fact that they resolve their issues with sex. And while they accept this, they also yearn to not completely exhaust each other with their constant jealous, possessive behavior. And while they hurt each other, over and over (and over), they also start to realize they will never be ‘normal’ together. The abuse that happened to both of them has not only seriously affected their lives as adults, but also has formed a bond between them. In this book we dive deeper into Gideon and Eva’s traumatic pasts. And I really like that she made this decision. And I know you are asking – goes where? Well, by the time you are done reading you will be nodding your head saying, why yes, yes she goes there. ![]() Don’t go looking for hints as to what is going to happen. I don’t want to really go too far in setting up this book because you really need to let the events unfold as you read. ![]() There is some massive crazy, possessive, jealous rages. Reflected in You by Sylvia Day (Crossfire #2)Īs I’ve been waiting for the sequel to Bared to You this past year, I kept thinking in my mind that the crazy intensity between Gideon and Eva would either not live up to my hopes in book two, or it would get old and I would get tired of their seriously messed up lives.
